42.195km for 10k!

When I completed my first half-marathon in May, I said I would never do something like this again. Well, turns out I don't have to take that back because I'm doing a FULL Marathon this month! Wut? 😅 Why? As you may know, I am part of the Everyone Can Be Someone campaign in support of the Children, Youths, and Families served by TOUCH Community Services. I have pledged to raise $10,000 and while I could have just asked you to donate, I figured I should do something to earn your support for my cause.

So a full marathon it is. I'm not sure how it's gonna play out... but I've been running, doing cardio training and endurance exercises for the past few weeks. For sure, no running records will be set... all I want to do is to complete it and in the process, I hope I have your support. Click here https://tinyurl.com/ecbs-kelvin to donate. Minimum amount is $5 and every donation will go some way in providing support for low income, single parent households and vulnerable families.

Oh, and a special thanks to Gold Coast Marathon for partnering me in this little challenge of mine. It's a virtual run which means you can do so anywhere in the world. You can still sign up at goldcoastmarathon.com.au from now til 1 Aug. Do tag me if you are joining me too, and thanks in advance for your support!

Strongly believing in the maxim “ who says parenting can’t be fun?”, the blog covers the adventures that we embark on together as a family. It features new, fun and kids-friendly places to visit or dine in, the occasional overseas trips when the travel bugs bites as well as reviews of kids and lifestyle products and gadgets that the family will enjoy.
